Quite a few battles aboard ship transporting troops on the ocean. Traveled with the commodore leading convoys across the North Atlantic, to their destinations in Europe and South America. Active in the invasion of Salerno, Italy and Gela, Sicily. Stopped at the following countries: England, France, Italy, Scotland, Algiers, Oran, Africa and Casablanca. Made trip to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Trinidad. Served 4 years.
