Howitzer section chief on the 105mm Cannon Company, 291st Infantry Regiment. Awarded 3 Bronze Stars, Combat Infantryman Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. Honorably discharged on November 10, 1945, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
