Liaison Pilot. Piloted and maintained L-4 and L-5 Cub and Stinson Airplanes. Flew about 150 Courier and observation missions into enemy territory. Stationed in Southern France, Rhineland, Central Europe and Rome. Received Air medal, Go 116, 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Go 11, 2nd Go 197, European-African-Middle Eastern ribbon, Meritorious service and Good Conduct medal.
