Activity During WWII

Inducted into Army, October 1942. Served at Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Panama; Camp Carson, Colorado; Camp Roberts, California. Went overseas in July 1944 as Machine Gunner. Wounded October 8, 1944, recuperated in Sussex, England before returning to active duty, January 12, 1945. Awarded Bronze Star, Silver Star and Purple Heart. Killed in Bodensee, Germany, April 13, 1945.
