Traveled on the Queen Elizabeth in 1941 to Scotland. Served in the 1st Armored Division during the invasion of North Africa in 11/42. Served in the Third Division during the invasion of Sicily in 7/43. Served in the 5th Army in Italy and the 7th Army during the invasion of Southern France in 8/44. Stationed in Germany when the war ended in 1945. Returned to the States in 9/45.
