Worked for Martin Aircraft Company in Baltimore, Maryland building the Martin Flying Boat at the outbreak of WWII. Enlisted into the U.S. Army Air Corps in April 1942. Assigned to Bolling Field Air Base in Washington D.C. as a motor pool driver. Usual assignment was to drive high ranking members of government and military personnel between Bolling Field, the Pentagon and various Government Buildings in D.C. including the White House. Died on February 15, 2003 at age 82. Buried in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
