Bombardier in the 15th Air Force, 376 Bomb Group, 513 Squadron, Italy. Was shot down over Budapest on his 13th mission on July 2, 1944. Was interned in Stalag Luft III, Stalag VII-A, and Stalag VIII-A. Was liberated in April 1945. Honorably discharged in March 1948.
