Activity During WWII

Enlisted in U.S. Army in Medical Service Corps and served in France during World War I as ambulance driver. Discharged and re enlisted in 1930's. Medical Service Corps. Assigned to Fort Washington, Maryland. Transferred to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 1939 and was there on December 7, 1941. From Hawaii, went through battles of Guadalcanal, New Guinea. Received battlefield commission as 1st Lieutenant. Assigned Ream General Hospital, Palm Beach, Florida as Adjutant. Assigned Fort McClellan, Georgia. Assigned to Tinian Island, Mariana Islands.
