In charge of radio repair shop on board USS Hector AR-7 in the Western Pacific. Was aboard the USS Hector AR-7 April 1944 to December 1945. Served September 1942 to December 1945. Changed all radio frequencies for the Okinawa Invasion in order to block transmission by the Japanese over Allied frequencies.
