Activity During WWII

Enlisted on January 30, 1945. Sent to Fort Bragg for basic training. Next sent to Fort McClellon and trained as a cook instructor (he was not shipped oversea as he was color blind). He then spent most of his time at Fort Dix where he instructed men to cook. Discharged on August 6, 1946 with the rank of Technical Sergeant. In the Army Reserves until March 30, 1950.
