Naval Architect during the war stationed in Washington D.C. After the war he moved to Nebraska and joined a Construction Battalion (Seabees) unit in Grand Island and then the Coast Guard reserve unit in Omaha, Nebraska until he retired with the rank of Commander. He was also at this time the commander of the local Coast Guard reserve unit in Omaha, Nebraska. His regular job was as a civil engineer with the government, as he graduated as a civil engineer for Maryland University. He passed away in 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska.
