Tenor Sax, bass, drummer with 400th Women's Army Corps (WAC) Band, stationed out of Fort Des Moines, Iowa. Band was sent to Montreal, Canada to recruit French-Canadians to enlist in the Canadian Forces. The band traveled all over America with the Four Freedoms Show which featured movie stars and celebrities selling war bonds and stamps and recruiting people to join American military branches of service.
