Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant. Signal Corps, 93rd Division, Samar Area Command U.S. Army Forces in the Far East. Saw duty with Allied intelligence, Bureau Radio Station in Samar, Philippines. Duty with U.S. 8th Army Area Command in Leyte, Philippines. Returned to duty with the Philippines Army, reverted to inactive duty, 4th Replacement Battalion, June 14, 1946.
