Four months as Unit Commander, Company A, 2nd Battalion, 341st Engineer General Supply Regiment. 6th Sector, Alaskan (Alcon) Highway and British Columbia (Canada). 1 month as Administration Officer, Company A, 5th Battalion, Army Service Forces Training Center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Spent 28 months as Operations Officer, S-4 Headquarters. Army Service Forces Training Center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia; direct Supervisor, 40 men indirectly Supervising 75 men; responsible for Army Conservation Salvage programs, Defense Council General C. M. and selection of Officer Candidate School (OCS) candidates. Entered service on August 11, 1942 and separated from service on January 8, 1946. Total 42 months. Two Commendations received at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, for Outstanding Performance of Service.
