Activity During WWII

Enlisted U.S. Army November 1942. Radio operator/mechanic to April 1943. Aviation Cadet to February 1944. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant Navigator February 1944. Completed Bombardier School June 1944, trained in B-25 as navigator bombardier. Served in Southwest Pacific from November 1944 to August 1945, completed combat tour. Returned to U.S. September 1945, Inactive Reserve January 1, 1946. Recalled for Korean War. Retired April 1970.
