Entered service October 21, 1943. Sent to the 3rd Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) Training Center at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. After basic training was sent to Harbor Defenses of Portland at Fort Williams in Maine. Transferred to the 2525th Service Command at Fort Myer in Virginia. Served with the Kansas contingent of the All States group at Georgia after being sworn in at Topeka, Kansas. Discharged February 8, 1946 at Fort Sheridan in Illinois.
