Activity During WWII

SERVED TWO YEARS WITH THE NATIONAL GUARD, 134TH INFANTRY IN THE ALEUTIAN ISLANDS. AFTER A SHORT TIME IN THE U.S. HE WAS SENT TO NEW GUINEA WITH THE 169TH INFANTRY AND PARTICIPATED IN THE INVASION OF LUZON, PHILIPPINES WHERE HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION APRIL 29, 1945.
