BOARDED USS GENERAL ANDERSON, DESTINATION LE HAVRE, FRANCE. SPENT 6 DAYS ON BOX CARS. ATTACHED TO 584TH BOMBARDMENT SQUADRON, 9TH AIR FORCE, 394TH BOMBARDMENT GROUP. FLEW ON A-26 AIRCRAFT. ARMY OF OCCUPATION. LEFT GERMANY, WENT TO LE HAVRE, FRANCE AND BOARDED THE MARITIME VICTORY SHIP. WENT TO CAMP KILMER, NEW JERSEY THEN TO FORT DIX, NEW JERSEY FOR SEPARATION ON JULY 1, 1946.
