During WWII, at age of 12, 13 and 14 years old, I was in the Morale Division of an organization called Junior Commandos. I played the accordion and sang on radio programs to help sell war bonds, also entertained troops at United Service Organizations (USO) Center. Our uniform was a trench coat and overseas cap. We also went on scrap drives for war efforts.
