He was one of eight people responsible for tires in ordnance. Sailed on the Queen Elizabeth, arrived the same day as his brother did in England. He also had the same apo. His brother found out his outfit was stationed very close to his; they lived with a British family, he was in tents with his outfit. When his brother located his outfit, he found his tent and woke him up. All these years he tells the tale of going to England and his brother waking him up from his British nap.
