Activity During WWII

From May 1941 to April 1944, worked at Newport News ship building company building aircraft carriers. From April 1944 to V-E day, served with Company G, 304th Infantry. Received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star, Expert M1 Rifleman Badge, European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon, Occupation Medal and WWII Victory Medal. From V-E Day to May 1946, served with the 707th Military Police Battalion. Discharged as a first Sergeant.
