Was on two Destroyers; the first being Torpedoed in the middle and sunk. The 2nd was in the Pacific and went to Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Philippines, and Japan. The 2nd Destroyer was bombed and Torpedoed by kamikaze planes but nothing exploded. The USS Fechteler DE-157 and the USS Harry F. Bauer DM-26.
