European Theater; went to continent from England just after Battle of the Bulge. Mission: cleared land mines, repaired bridges and roads. I transferred to G-5 Section 20th Corps as a clerk typist. Handled calls for number of displaced persons. Once typed a hunting license for General Patton and General of 20th Corps; General Patton was killed shortly after in a car accident.
