Activity During WWII

Worked for the U.S. War Department as a supervising mathematician for the Inter-American Mapping Organization in Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. Also worked at Headquarters in the Panama Canal Zone. At the end of the war he received a merit award for the rapid calculation system he developed and it was published by the Army Map Service.
