He was a Co-Pilot and one of the James Bullis B-24 bomber crew stationed in Guam. Flew pre-invasion raids over Iwo Jima and some by-passed Islands. Did some sea search for a lost at sea 4 star general prior to the invasion of Okinawa, ending up as Hawaii defense. Crew disbanded Christmas in 1945 with all crew members intact.
