U.S. Army Engineers, Dictaphone Pool and Payroll, Seattle. 1943, married U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Kenneth Angell and was a homemaker for him at Camp Le Jeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina and Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. Final care of a parent, Mother. 1944-1945, Seattle Area Council of Camp Fire Girls as a Field Director, to train volunteer adults for girl-group leadership and provide resource help in skills and camping. Promoted child care and character building, provided Victory meals of low cost and high nutrition, rationed supplies, recycled fats, textiles and metals for the war effort. Diligent in church attendance and letter writing.
