SHORTLY AFTER INITIAL D-DAY INVASION, LANDED AND MOVED INTO HOLLAND AND LATER VARIOUS PARTS OF GERMANY WHERE HIS ANTI-AIRCRAFT ARTILLERY UNIT (90MM GUNS) SAW REGULAR ACTION INCLUDING BATTLE OF THE BULGE. FOLLOWING GERMANY'S SURRENDER, MOVED SOUTH TO BAVARIA AND ASSIGNED MILITARY POLICE DUTIES FOR HIS CLOSING MONTHS IN GERMANY. RETURNED STATESIDE EARLY 1946.
