Activity During WWII

1941-1945. Commanded the 22nd Fort Lewis and 47th Infantry, Fort Dix. New Guinea, Philippines, Korea (twice). 1950-1952, Injured in chest by shrapnel. 1960-1961, he was Post Company at Camp Red Cloud, Korea. In the 2nd World War, he was gone 43 months, mostly combat and made 3 initial landings in the Philippines.
