Activity During WWII

Served in the Army Air Forces Training Command as a Corporal. Served in the U.S. at Scott Field, Illinois where he studied Morse Code. He was stationed at Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin; at radio mechanic school in Chanute Field, Illinois. At pre-radar school, he studied electronics in high frequency. Attended radar mechanical school in Boca Raton, Florida where he was a specialist in high altitude bombing equipment. Received the Good Conduct medal and the WWII Victory Medal. Honorably discharged at Maxwell Field February 1, 1946.
