Served in 6th Medical Company, 6th Marine Division. Started at Newport Naval Hospital, then to Camp LeJeune, North Carolina for Marine training. Then overseas. No combat experience but was on several of the Islands after the fighting; Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Okinawa.
