Served in the Pacific with the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron of the 7th Air Force as a crew chief and air crew member on C-47 number 347999 and flying out of Saipan and Okinawa. Was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal and an American Theater Ribbon. Entered on January 17, 1943 and received an honorable discharge on March 15, 1946 with the rank of Sergeant.
