Received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart and WWII Victory Medal while assigned to the Marine Corps. Awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign ribbon with 4 Stars and the American Area. Also, he was awarded the Navy Unit Citation and the Presidential Unit Citation. He served with honor and distinction for his country and his family carries the torch for others now. God bless America.
