Radio Operator Mechanic Schooling, sent overseas, served with the 555th Signal Air Warning Battalion (later changed to the 603rd Tactical Control Squadron) which provided ground-to-air high frequency direction air warning. Discharged November 1, 1946 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
