Master Sergeant. Attended Howard Payne Baptist College in Brownwood, Texas and was stationed at Camp Bowie. Entered the National Guard in 1940. He was mobilized into the Army and was part of the 36th Division. Stationed in New Orleans in the staging area, then transferred to Camp Cook in Lompoc, California. Transferred to Camp Pendleton in Pasadena, California. Honorably discharged November 1943.
