Radio operator, gunner. Plane was shot down over the Baltic Sea. Was saved by a german fisherman, turned into the German authorities and sent to Stalag 17 Prison Camp until the end of the war, almost 2 years. He had no dog tags on, was interrogated as a spy and almost shot at dawn.
