Activity During WWII

Served in WWII, January 1942 to January 1946. Officer Candidate School (OCS), summer of 1942, missed boat to North Africa December 1942, Armu snafu. Ordered casual to South Pacific January 1944, assigned to 13th Airdrome Squadron, 13th Air Force. Served on Green Island, Russell Islands, longest stay on Morotai, MacArthur's last stop before returning to Philippines. We were packing for Okinawa when war ended.
