Activity During WWII

SERVED AS A COXSWAIN OF A LANDING BARGE. HIS BARGE AND THE SHIP THAT WAS TOWING IT WERE BOMBED AND BLOWN UP NEAR THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS BY THE JAPANESE. ALL PERSONNEL ON THE BARGE AND THE SHIP WERE KILLED. HE DIED AT AGE OF 25.
