Security for the late Franklin D. Roosevelt, at Hyde Park, 12/24/42-5/30/45. The 240th Military Police Battalion. Training in Security, Dangerous combat, Judo and Hand to Hand Combat. Training for the invasion of Japan at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After V-J Day, assigned to a Glider Company at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
