He performed duties in the U.S. and Asiatic-Pacific Theatre for twenty months. Identified and intercepted Japanese Military Radio Signals by means of radio receiver. Copied intercepted messages and relayed them for translation and decoding. Enlisted service on December 2, 1942 and honorably discharged on February 10, 1946. Re-enlisted on February 11, 1946 and honorably discharged February 10, 1949. Awarded an American Asiatic-Pacific Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He died in Bay of Pines Veterans Hospital, Florida, on December 8, 1970.
