Served as a telephone switchboard operator with the 725th Anti-Aircraft Artillery search light battery in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre of Operations for 15 months. Installed, operated and performed maintenance on portable magneto type switchboards and common battery switchboards. Also worked on radios. Installed 593 and 543 radio sets. Received 3 Bronze Stars for New Guinea, Luzon, and Bismark Archipelago Campaigns.
