Activity During WWII

Tail gunner, European Theater of Operations. Stationed at Army Air Forces 121, Bassingbourn, England with 8th Air Force, 91st Bomb Group (H), 322nd Bomb Squadron. He was a crewman aboard the B-17-G, 'Wee Willie,' when it was shot down over Stendal, Germany on April 8, 1945. Was initially missing in action. Declared killed in action on April 8, 1946.
