Among his citations were: Legion of Merit, Silver Star Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters and the Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters; also L'Ordre Du Regiment (Etoile de Bronze) signed by General De Gaulle, decorated on October 30, 1945.
