I entered the U.S. Army in November 1942. Went to Georgia to join the 10th Armored at Fort Benning. Joined the 54th Anti-Tank Battalion. Was with Colonel O'Hare at the Battle of the Bulge. Discharged as Staff Sergeant in November 1945.
