EARNED THE COMBAT INFANTRYMAN BADGE, EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH TWO BRONZE BATTLE STARS, WWII VICTORY MEDAL, AND THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL. DISCHARGED HONORABLY AS A PRIVATE FIRST CLASS ON JANUARY 22, 1946.
