The 507th Parachute Regiment, 17th Airborne Division. During my summer vacation in 1943, worked at Grumman Aircraft. Worked on the F6F Hellcat. Went into the Army and served two years as a paratrooper. Participated in the Operation Varsity, the airborne invasion of Germany.
