Activity During WWII

Took Free Flying Lessons in 1939 at Kirtland Field in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preparation for War even before Pearl Harbor, signed up for Air Corps on December 2, 1941 as 2nd Lieutenant. Sent to Foggia, Italy as soon as possible. Flew B-24, Northern Italy, Yugoslavia. Missing in action for 8 months. Killed in action on April 13, 1944 over Budapest, Hungary and buried in St. Avold, France.
