ENTERED ACTIVE SERVICE AS A DRAFTEE ON 16 FEBRUARY, 1943. TRAINED AS A STATISTICAL CLERK AND DEPARTED THE CONTINENTAL U.S. ON 13 NOVEMBER 1943, BOUND FOR THE PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS. PARTICIPATED IN THE CENTRAL BURMA CAMPAIGN. AWARDED THE ASIATIC-PACIFIC CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH 1 BRONZE BATTLE STAR, THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL AND THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL. HONORABLE DISCHARGE FROM THE 446TH ENGINEER SUPPLY BASE DEPOT COMPANY AS A TECHNICIAN 4TH GRADE ON 28 DECEMBER 1945.
