Served in Company B, 3rd Chemical Mortar Battalion from October 1944 to 1945. Re-enlisted 11/1/45 for 1 year. (Heavy Mortar Crewman). Campaigns; Rhineland and Central Europe. Received Combat Infantryman Badge Marksman-M1 Rifle, Bronze Star Campaign Rhineland and Bronze Star Campaign Central Europe, European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon and Combat Infantryman Badge.
