Served as a cashier at the war savings department of the First National Bank of Fort Worth. Also, worked for the Red Cross at Meacham Field in Fort Worth in the canteen department, serving sandwiches and carrot sticks to men in the Air Force. Worked at the Blood Bank in Fort Worth; filled out forms for people giving blood.
