EARNED THE BRONZE STAR AND PURPLE HEART MEDALS, AND WAS OTHERWISE ENTITLED TO THE AMERICAN CAMPAIGN MEDAL, THE EUROPEAN-AFRICAN-MIDDLE EASTERN CAMPAIGN MEDAL WITH AT LEAST THREE BRONZE BATTLE STARS, AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. BURIED WITH HONORS AT HENRI-CHAPELLE AMERICAN CEMETERY, HENRI-CHAPELLE, BELGIUM. HONORED ALSO AT THE WWII MEMORIAL IN FLORA, ILLINOIS.
